When we launched our real estate photography product over 10 years ago, the choices in virtual tour technologies were limited and insufficient, so our offering sold itself. Over time, we have continued to innovate and remain a market leader but have yet to establish a dedicated marketing function to accelerate growth.

You are motivated more by discovering a new optimal channel of leads than you are in obsessing over what tools you use and running reports. Spending more time off the computer and engaging the community sounds more interesting than designing automated marketing campaigns.

You relish the opportunity to work with a product team, engineers, customer success and customers to ensure a surprisingly awesome customer experience. You ask a lot of questions and love spirited yet professional debate, knowing it improves outcomes. You are comfortable navigating uncharted waters within the company. Performance Objectives

  • Become a product and industry expert by gathering insights from team members, reviewing previously recorded interviews, conducting independent research, documenting previous marketing approaches and training yourself on our platform functionality within the first 30 days.
  • Identify five digital communities that allow us to build brand awareness and attract new leads by developing a weekly engagement strategy for each within the first 60 days.
  • Identify five offline communities that allow us to build brand awareness and attract new leads by developing a monthly engagement strategy for each within the first 60 days.
  • Develop an event playbook that includes communication strategies for engaging event participants, identifying potential business development opportunities and ways to analyze vendors/organizers/speakers to determine product capabilities, target market and customer messaging within first 60 days.
  • Research value add of Agent Snap mobile application against modern camera phone capabilities as well as any similar photography mobile applications on the market and develop “comparative” marketing material within the first 60 days.
  • Implement a cross-functional sales hand-off procedure for transitioning marketing qualified leads to our sales process within the first 60 days.
  • Demonstrate Agent Snap to 50 Atlanta real estate agents for gathering feedback and translating insights into marketing materials for scaling towards the entire Atlanta market within the first 90 days.
  • Develop market analysis strategy that allows us to stay on top of moves and trends within the real estate and photography market within the first 90 days.
  • Collaborate with Sales Lead on messaging and design to produce sales materials which can be used for prospecting and digital marketing within the first 90 days.
  • Facilitate a recurring discussion with the product team to ensure insights surfaced through communications are reflected in roadmap and future functionality is accounted for in messaging within the first 90 days.
  • Develop strategy for pushing original content through non-digital channels (such as speaking at meetups or events) to position us as a thought leader within first 120 days.
  • Outline a region-specific marketing strategy that defines tactics for engaging real estate agents in remote locations within the first 120 days.
  • Publish eight pieces of content per month focusing on educating real estate agents and photographers on strategies and best practices within the first 120 days.
  • Refer 500 or more Atlanta real estate agents to the sales team for use of the Agent Snap mobile application by end of 2017.

Exceptional execution of the Marketing Lead role will put you in a strong position to use your experience building a marketing strategy and increasing our lead pipeline to manage a team of Marketing Associates as Tourbuzz grows.

Successful long-term marketing success can lead to a newly formed Director of Marketing position as our Growth Consultant transitions all ownership and duties of the marketing function.

Paris Holley - Growth Consultant: As your Functional Manager, he will help provide the resources, guidance, and alignment you need to be successful in your role, as well as offer support to facilitate your engagement and satisfaction at Tourbuzz. In addition, as the Growth Consultant he will assist in facilitating discussions (and decisions) between you, business and product.

Matt Morris - Communications / Reactive Support: As the product communications lead, you both will work together to ensure messaging is consistent when marketing to both current and prospective customers.

Andrew Young - Product Manager / Director of Business Transformation: Andrew will work with you to develop a strategy for Tourbuzz products that are not directly tied to professional photographers.

Hillary Prager - Junior Product Manager: As a former Customer Experience Group team member and current Tourbuzz Enterprise Product Manager, Hillary will work with you to develop a strategy around our offering targeted at professional photographers.

Alan Pinstein - Director of Product / CEO: Alan will be available to share historical context around our industry, our product and previous marketing efforts.
